Not recommendable! As you can already read in the comments, the staff is very unfriendly. The food is overpriced and unfortunately not good either. The offer for vegetarians, vegans or allergy sufferers is a joke. The restaurant is probably only popular because of the lake.

Fantastic, hand-cooked specialties with claim but without stupid Chichi. And even on Sunday lunchtime there was a spontaneous cookie for 2 hikers (normally one should make better reservations). The service was also selected friendly and nice. For the Augustiner am See is worth a longer hike / travel time.

We are here regularly, every time it is incredibly good! A treat for everyone, whether meat lovers, allergy sufferers or vegetarians. Location on the lake, really great. The ladies in the service are very competent and always friendly, we can not confirm the negative experiences. Discover, relax, enjoy - the motto hits the nail on the head! Every 1st Monday of the month fresh calf's liver - great! We always like to come back! It is advisable to make a reservation in advance.

a nice restaurant with a wonderful ambience in the middle of nature. The food was excellent, price performance o.k. The staff is friendly but could be a bit more spontaneous and attentive. Wednesday and Thursday day of rest, hot meals from 11.00 to 21.00 advance booking recommended.

Friendly restaurant situated in Birklingen at the southern tip of the Steigerwald hills. Great German food with a modern twist, good wines, and very friendly service at surprisingly reasonable prices. Since receiving a mention in the Michelin guide, people from far and wide visit here. In the summer, lovely seating outside. Reserve a table in advance if you don't want to be turned away at the door. Wheelchair access available and also very family-friendly. The food is upscale without being snobbish.
